You realize they nerfed this. It's not as obtainable anymore

I just had a match with these bubble hounds so its not nerfed. The lead guy on their team had 50 kills. Its not nerfed at all.

Proof that orbs need kills to produce more energy around the 1:30 mark. If you place a bubble, get kills, and then place you next one though, it is exploitable. You can't just place bubble after bubble without doing anything anymore though. Eventually those 2 orbs produced from the initial placement will only give you a sixth of you super energy back.

Did it 2 nights ago to do a one sword hm crota, still works in pve just fine

If you don't get any kills your orbs produce less and less super energy. Which means you would only get like a minute or 2 of bubble spam
