So I threw my controller at a wall today....
My internet disconnected when I was already in a bad mood because of the people using shotguns in IB and murmur doing minimal damage at ranges closer than I've one shotted, and getting killed by supers. In my defense, I was aiming for the couch and released late, nailing my brothers art supplies bin he got like 10 years ago and breaking one of the drawers. The only other noticeable damage was not feeling a click when i press the Y-button.
Edit: this seems like it is turning into a confession spot for other people's rages, not the original idea but keep em comin.

My poor 360 got it bad, playing nba 2k13, I broke five controllers, my dog got up and left the room whenever I played it. That game use to get me so mad!

The only time I ever threw a controller was on halo reach. It was team snipers on Hemorrhage, and I was 18-0 with 12 seconds left in the game. 2 kids on the other side came over on a mongoose and double teamed me. I killed one and hurt the other, but I was killed. It would've been my first ever Perfection. I was pissed.

My rage mainly consists of squeezing the -blam!- out of the controller...surprisingly I don't rage in pvp. I seem to rage in pve when my fireteam of random don't know what they're doing and don't want to learn/listen. There's always that one guy that's like "yeah alright" and does the total opposite.

I get those moments sometimes. But I stop myself by saying it's just a game and such. Plus buying a new controller is expensive.

Remember in the IB your Light Level affects your Damage Done/taken and weapons and armor that aren't Maxed can also put you at a disadvantage against some other Guardians. The better the gear the better the chances of winning engagements. Hang in there Guardian! :)

2 RepliesA video game is part of entertainment only. The moment anything material takes control of your emotions like this it is a sign that you need to put it aside and move on to something else. This is certainly not a good thing to do.

Your level 30 you shouldnt be doing high damage to level 32s! Thats what ib is all about, they we dont have lower level people like you running around with FR

2 RepliesAlong time ago I snapped off an Atari joystick after hitting a dead-end on a great run on River Raid, dad was not happy. I've grown much older since then, and the shit is just too expensive nowadays. My wife still looks at me funny when I start yelling at the TV over a video game.

1 ReplyI once brought four exotic arm engrams from xur. I turn three in quickly and I get three -blam!-ing don't touch me, so I am pretty pissed at this point. I turn in the fourth and get another don't touch me. I snap my controller in half, unplug my playstation and took a two week break from destiny.

While friend A was in the bathroom friend B changed the buttons on his controller. Next match friend B scores a double perfect totally trashing friend A. Friend A threw friend B out of his house!! Lol still cracks me up to this day!!

Playing ufc at a friends house a few years ago. A friend who never played before knocked out the kid who had not lost in twenty seconds. Kid turns and hurled controller into his tv and shattered the glass in his plasma.

3 RepliesI have never broken anything out of video game related rage, and never would due to an FPS. That being said, I've recently started playing FIFA online, I would recommend this to anyone who needs a little perspective, it's like a masochists utopia. Nothing will make you rage more.

1 ReplyPlaying MW2 a couple of years ago, had my headset on which was connected to my controller.. Got n00btubed 2 kills before a nuke, by a lvl 3/4 or something.. Lost it, threw my controller across the room but forgot the headset was attached.. Headset was yanked of my head and the cord snapped in the meantime, backlashed into my face. Karma or something I guess. Had a red line across my left eye and cheek for a day
