My internet disconnected when I was already in a bad mood because of the people using shotguns in IB and murmur doing minimal damage at ranges closer than I've one shotted, and getting killed by supers. In my defense, I was aiming for the couch and released late, nailing my brothers art supplies bin he got like 10 years ago and breaking one of the drawers. The only other noticeable damage was not feeling a click when i press the Y-button.
Edit: this seems like it is turning into a confession spot for other people's rages, not the original idea but keep em comin.
-
Dude. I love this. Shotgun fest at long range is absurd. Banner is joke. So is crucible ... Basically anything with radar always on
-
What was the original idea?
-
Ayo, calm down -blam!-.
-
Let's just say I know for a fact that the controllers are stronger than Ikea furniture
-
You're a level 30 with a double negative KD I can see why
-
In Jamaica they say "that's a situation", but more importantly "no problem" or "Ya man".

Not destiny related. I remember this almost perfectly. Good rage not bad! I was a pro MW2 MLG/GB player (no gloating) i was in a tournament, a 4v4 to be exact. All snd for 2K$ Last map, skidrow snd. My team was tied with the other team, top page at the time. Were lose the first 2 rounds. We play it safe we come back and get 3-2. They win the next, guy clutched it 2v1. At this point we're nervous, geeked and just ready to see what happens. If we win we get 2K $ and we've been at this tourny for about 8.5 hours so were ready to relax with our old ladies. We have to defend on the tie. Shhh-----t lets do this we got it guys my team mate says. We start off doing what we usually do on the map. 2 of my team mater get smacked off the bat. Not good. Me and my other team mate who happens to be my dubs partner at the time (32-1 record). He takes out one guy then gets tagged by his team mate. Im last alive. 3v1 at this moment. My whole team is talking to me saying u got this you got it do this, i say stfu let me focus. Im watching B bomb and here comes one thru the tunnel. Dead. 2v1 now, i look bomb down. I wait. play it safe. I hear those little ninja steps as im walking away from bomb so i can sound whore. I wait a split second, turn around, and drop shot. Turn around to run away see the next guy, he starts shooting me i do the same i jump then drop shot and we WIN! All u hear from my basement is lets f-in gooooo! Lets goo! F outta hear. My buddy says squad sh---t!. I jump up throw down my headset and throw my controller across the basement, it hits my dads tool box. My mom comes down and says wtf happened are you ok. Yes mom, its just CoD. She says oh god and goes back up stairs. My headset (tritton Ax720) my controller are both broke. Lets say that was a well earned rage moment.
-
Haven't really raged lately. But socom 2 and the game battle clan war days...my god. I've broken a few controllers. Funniest rage ever was when I was at my friend's house and I was upstairs, I hear my friend yelling from the basement and I hear a loud smash. Wondering what happened, I ran downstairs and I see him picking up pieces from his keyboard lol. A bunch of keys were all over the floor. Til this day, we laugh about it whenever that moment comes up
-
I laughed at the late release like you're talking about a quarterback or something lol
-
Mario Kart 8. The struggle is real. That's all I have to say.
-
I've raged quite hard at MW2 when I was a teen, but I never damaged my controller. I would just sigh really heavily, and if I reached a boiling point, I would just stop playing and vigorously rub one out. Then come back and play again.
Works every time.
-
I broken 2 controllers that way. Now I just punch my couch
-
Haven't broken a controller. Kicked the couch quite a few times trying to do Halo Reach solo legendary
-
This was completely accidental. I was playing Black Ops 2 a few years ago, and was playing high roller in sticks and stones. I was doing so good. I was in the zone man. My hands were sweaty from trying so hard. I was in 1st place, and decided to camp it out for the last 30 seconds. Someone threw a tomahawk across the map and it killed me at the last second. I meant to throw my hands up in the air while screaming "WHAT THE -blam!-" but the controller ended up slipping out of my hands and hit my tv. The screen broke. Yup.

Edited by KatchPhraze: 3/19/2015 7:05:52 PMHahaha my younger brother KO'd me once with a snes controller. I'm too good at mario kart.
-
If the other team captures all control points in the first minute of an Iron Banner match I will usually quit because I know already the match won't be any fun so I try again to find one with people of similar skill.
-
LOL rage out! Kid (you common back now ya hear there's more shotgun ammo waiting for ya)
-
Damn bro sorry to hear that. I feel that way every game when I'm with the lowest skilled players in existence especially in iron banner where I only get those players. I've learned to just yell instead because as a kid I would rage on just about anything over anything so I had to do something to control breaking a controller every two weeks
-
Obrien enraged
-
havent thrown a controller in decades. last time was NES with ninja gaiden. -blam!-ing red B button popped right out.
-
Last time I threw a controller i was 10...no joke. If i game EVER made me that mad, I would stop playing....they are meant for fun, not rages to intense you destroy your own property, as well as your family.
-
I threw my controller into the couch playing MW2 back in the day and it rebounded into my tv, breaking both. There is a reason I very rarely play competive pvp after my call of duty days. Shit almost ended my marriage... so not worth the emotional expense.
-
take a chill pill dude, that being said I used to rage a lot back in the halo 3 days
-
Edited by rScallywag: 3/19/2015 5:58:46 PMYou don't know rage until you've tried your hand at the vid masters with scrubs. #roadtorecon not forgotten
-
Iv been breaking controllers since the nes days lol
-
This is why i have to prepare myself mentally before playing pvp, my competitiveness gets the best of me, so far ive had to replace a controller twice.
