Bummer with the Plasma Repeater. Always loved the design and idea behind it. Though you never know. Jul's forces are using leftover Covenant tech.
I knew about the Revenant and Falcon in Halo 4. Hard pressed to call that thing a Revenant, as it was more akin to a Spectre in function. Shame many of Halo 4's maps were a bit too cluttered for much in the way of vehicular gameplay. Possibly would have convinced me to stick around a bit longer.
There were a lot of Covenant weapons in Halo Reach that were really cool. The Focus Rifle was among my favorite, right beside the Spiker and Needle Rifle.

While they are indeed, the Storm Rifle improves on the shortcomings of the Plasma Rifle and Plasma Repeater. It is also currently being mass-produced, making it in easily attainable quantities.
-
Improves? It's inaccurate as all hell. Really, it's just a Repeater with a longer barrel.

gameplay =/= canon.
-
If only it could be gameplay=canon.
-
That would be awful.
-
I mean that we could get canonical stuff with balanced and fun gameplay.
-
We are getting canonical stuff though. =/
-
God, why can't I word this right? I mean why can't weapons and such be canonically accurate while still maintaining fun and balanced gameplay?
-
Because then they're not canonical?
-
??? I is confuzzalled.
-
If they're canon, but then balanced for gameplay, then it's not canon. Canon weapons aren't given balancing at all due to it being relative to the faction.
-
That's what I'm saying! Why can't they things be like they are in canon without being overpowered and unbalanced?

Does a 1-2sk BR sound good to you? What about over 32 rounds from an AR to kill a Spartan? Or 5 plasma rifle shots to kill a Spartan?
