Destiny's Broken Loot System

Yes, the loot system needs editing.

The loot system in this game is ridiculous and it needs to be fixed. Honestly, I don't even remember what happened to the game we were promised before the BETA last year...it's almost as though that vision has dissipated entirely. There needs to be a system installed where you are rewarded generously for accomplishing something like a raid or a strike. The bosses aren't looted, and the randomly generated loot drop which lights up our screen like Vegas really isn't pleasing anybody. In the future, we need a more suited looting system - random drops is fine for some things, but other quests that should reward you handsomely really don't...and you end up getting rubbish miscellaneous items that really should have been acquired from Patrol. There's no challenge in Destiny, and it's losing replay value so, so quickly. Do you agree?

I think the randomness is ok. What's dumb as hell is when I get my 7th light of the abyss and another guy gets his 7th black hammer AND WE CANT TRADE!!! We should be able to trade rewards with fireteam members immediately after receiving them. 2 weeks ago I really did not need my 3rd ghorn from nightfall, but my buddy who can only log 4 hours tops each week could have used it in place of all those shards. Furthermore this would give an extra incentive to have full fireteams. As it stands now, I'd rather have no more than 4 on Crota. More people = more potential mistakes.
