Neither do I ...!!!

Oh, I see what you mean. Sorry...

No worries, I respect what atheists are about. I tend to take a more scientific perspective with my belief system. I don't believe in a personal God that intervenes in human affairs and demands worship. I don't think God is anything close to being human like which is why I think all religions have it wrong. About the closest to it would be Buddhism but that could hardly be considered a religion, it's more of a philosophy.

Zen Buddhism is my favorite religion due to it not having any gods. And hey, Buddha in my eyes is better then Jesus because at least the guy WORKED for his enlightenment.

Very true. That's one of the biggest problems with Christianity is it's not about seeking enlightenment and discovery but instead it's about adherence to ancient laws. That and you could be the biggest most ignorant turd on earth and all you have to do is accept Jesus and you are good. There is no actual incentive to seek spiritual enlightenment and greater understanding of our world. It's the stringent obedience that is the reason many Christians have issues accepting the realities of our universe.

Very true. In fact, if you have Xbox One, then I invite you to join my clan: The Amazing Atheists. We already have some members, and right now it's starting to somewhat grow. But still, you seem like a pretty intelligent person, who actually has a higher understanding than just: Religion Bad! No Religion Good!

Unfortunately I'm on ps4. But you have pretty much summed it up, science can prove a lot but in reality it can make no assertions as to the existence of a higher power or not. That's probably the most insulting thing about religions war on science is that scientists aren't out to disprove God. In fact if someone were to scientifically prove the existence of God tomorrow that person would win the noble prize. But there just isn't any evidence there to suggest there is or isn't a higher power. There however is a lot evidence that shows the bible is false and it's pretty obvious to an educated person.

Yeah, plus we have another Amazing Atheists clan on the app right now if you want to join that. But your right, science is about finding answers to life's most mysterious aspects, as well as learning about our universe. I feel as if religion provides a more simple explanation, but Also one that is taken way too seriously. That is why I think it is important for people to not only Learn about science, but also have an understanding for religion due to it's interesting morals and viewpoints on life.

If a theory is proven wrong in part or in whole it's the theory that has to change. With religion they try to make the evidence fit their beliefs rather then allowing the evidence to shape their beliefs. What good is the truth when you choose to accept a lie.
