What is interesting is TDYD has the highest aim assist of any hand cannon in the game.
DestinyDatabase states:
TDYD: 90%
TDYK:81%
Fatebringer:61%
Thorn:60%
TLW:50%
Hawkmoon:50%
Most hand cannons average out at about 55%, so it is sad to me that you can't hit anything with a 90%.

What about the Lord high fixer? I feel like it has a decent assist. But not huge.
-
65% These numbers are kind of arbitrary but you just have to compare them to one another.
http://db.planetdestiny.com/items/weapons/primary/handcannon?tier=8&sort=name Click on a weapon's name twice.
Yeah. I love the Lord high. My first legendary weapon. Still have it.

This! Lord high fixer with clown cartridge and explosive rounds. I don't have fatebringer and thorn sucks in pve so this is my most used weapon. Just a shame can't upgrade to 331.
-
I don't have clown cartridge on mine. It has the one where precision kills speed up reload. That compared with chain of woe. My god. Instant reload
-
I forgot mine also has final round as well as clown cartridge and explosive rounds = beast. Lol!
-
I would hope a hand cannon with 5 rounds would have better aim assist!
-
13 with field scout.

I actually don't like the aim assist perk. I used to always turn it off in COD..... I wish there was a way to do this in Destiny.

This is a completely different meaning from the stat he is talking about. The aim assist stat on planet db is how far of target you can be and still get a hit (for instance if i hit someone in the neck it might still give me a head shot bonus), where as the aim assist you are talking about is how your sights move in game between targets if they intersect. The easiest gun you can see the aim assist stat on is the vex, literally you can just spray this gun and over half of the rounds will be off target but they will still hit even though they shouldnt. The vex has %100 aim assist.

Edited by iDelta: 3/15/2015 3:35:33 PMYes sometimes when you're trying to aim at one thing at a distance and another runs by it is annoying but if you tried to play crucible without it you would realize it is actually important. It helps a lot hitting the moving jumping people while you're moving and jumping.
