think of it like this. there are 2 possible scenarios:
1)you are walking home from a party because -blam!- work, right? all of the sudden, a bright and beautiful Lamborghini falls from the sky and lands gently in front of you, with the keys in the ignition. you hop in and drive home, and have fun playing with your new toy.
2) you worked as hard as you could for weeks and finally got a huge promotion. you save up money, then, when there is a huge sale at the dealership, you decide to buy that Lamborghini you've had your eye on for weeks. you drive home and have fun playing with your new toy.
In which scenario was the Lamborghini earned more?
but that's none of my business
Scenario 1 doesn't really apply to Destiny because it's not like you can just sit in the tower and a gjallarhorn randomly appears in your inventory. You have to be doing an activity which gives you a chance to earn that weapon.

Edited by blacksteez: 3/13/2015 11:12:50 PMYou can afk a strike and the same thing happens. So yes, it can apply to destiny.

good point. my point is nobody ever "earns" something more than another, but I can see where you would think that

Haha yeah, I see both sides and I'm just kind of in the middle. I think almost everything we do to get our stuff should be considered earning.
