what you don't understand that it ISN'T earning, if it was earning then i bet you damn near most of the population playing Destiny would have a Vex, a Necrochasm and a Gjallahorn right now.

Please explain further what you're trying to say. Because at the moment you've made no ground. The weapons you've listed are all a part of the RNG system. AKA, a lucky roll on the right number corresponding to a certain prize. However, if you complete the Weekly Heroic Strikes, that have a set list of rewards, you've earned those strange coins because they're guaranteed for completing the task.

I am agreeing with him. And you are as well. Read again what the OP said. He's saying that his grind on the Weekly Heroic Strikes for the reward of strange coins, and then using that income to buy products from Xur, that is earning.
