Well since Xûr is selling red death, here come the elitists saying they "earned" theirs. You don't earn any exotic in destiny, except the exotic bounty weapons, in a way. You just got lucky! You earn your strange coins, so you can buy whatever the hell you want from Xûr!!! Don't let these elitists tell you any different!!! YOU DONT EARN ANYTHING IN RNG!!!!!!!

You called it man.. Scroll up.. It takes completing a difficult strike to earn the strange coins to buy the damn gun so yea you kinda earned it... Getting it randomly isn't earning. If that were true, getting a car from your dad is earned but buying one isn't.
