A theory video I seem recently talks about something pretty crazy about chief, I won't say what it is to avoid any sort of spoilers. Do you think this theory is plausible? If so do you think it will have any impact on the future of Halo?

I've seen that vid actually. It's pretty interesting, but I highly doubt that it's true.

And what brings about these doubts?

The fact that over half the video is talking about the "Combat Skins" and "Ancillas", which points more towards Halsey receiving a Geas rather than Chief, considering he had naught to do with the production of his augmentations, Mjolnir or Cortana.

Interesting I didn't know that. The Ur-didact was able to imprint on born stellar, and whether the Ur-Didact was alive was irrelevant. Is it possible that a similar method was used to imprint Born Stellar on the master chief?
