[/i] Why is it that by the time of the halo games taking place that the Covenant became more advanced than the humans? Wouldn't the forerunners have favored the humans and left more behind? [i](Humanity was favoured but our redevelopment took longer then anticipated with so many Gea's wiped out by the didact when he composed entire populations of de-evolved humans on a Halo ring meaning that the covenant species developed faster as they found forerunner relics on their worlds and reverse engineered them for space flight etc. So they didn't technically advance faster evolutionary wise but they did so technologically due to forerunner relics they came across.
