Ill try to see if that might be the case next time, but I've done more strikes and patrols than I care to remember and I havnt surpassed 150 kills of each yet so I find it strange. Besides, the Ishtar strike I'm fairly sure hasn't given me any kills. It's 6 Hydras there and to my memory they're all red on strikes. Neither gives count towards the the grimore, I'm fairly sure...
