Just a question (plz don't start a war or seriously put me down) If evolution is Scientific fact, how can we prove this? After all the studies I've done on Evolution and Darwinism, I've never found any Concrete indisputable fact that proves evolution to be scientific fact. No one was there in the very beginning so how do we know? Methods like carbon-14 dating have been proven to be flawed and fossils don't come with tiny tags on them saying 'hey I'm 15 million years old and I'm an ancestor of a horse!' I understand the meaning of the term Theory when it is used in science, but the difference between The theory of evolution and the theory of gravity is that the theory of gravity can be easily proven simply by living your life. Dropping something is enough to prove to another person that gravity exists. However, it's very different with Evolution. There is no easy way to prove that evolution is fact. Even Darwin's brilliant theory of natural selection doesn't tell me enough. The real question here is 'where did everything come from?' Or 'why are we here?' I don't think anybody can answer those questions. If we really did come from a single-celled first organism, where did that come from? And where did that that created that come from? Well nobody knows. And that's why I'm turning to Christianity for answers, and honestly I'm finding their answers to things much more satisfying than atheism's answers to things. My favorite theory is the theory of intelligent design (look it up) so just don't go all Richard Dawkins on me, I tried to write this as simple as possible as to not stir up controversey and confusion.
