Make sure you get approval from Bungie to "publish". This is something I work in, and even if it's fan-fiction the owner can sue you until massively for using their "intellectual" rights. So be careful, and if you make money off of it without royalties to Bungie or permission, say goodbye to your life savings

---plus. If they want me to stop writing it, I'm sure someone'll let me know. I can't possibly create anything as good as whatever writer they've hired, so the most this will do is make whatever novel they release (eventually) look really good. I feel like everyone wins here.

I'm not charging for it. Bungie won't care so long as they're the only ones making money off of it.
