Not sure what your level is on gta etc.
The mastermind of the heist needs to be level 100.
You gain extra rewards for doing them with the same people.
You gain extra rewards for not losing any lives.
Pretty sure each heist can only be done once.
Considering these rewards are high value according to rockstar newswire unless you can plan a group to play the heists with (maybe you're in a crew) I'd go for destiny first while contacting friends.
