The events of Halo: Blood Line occurred, where they were shot down on a Forerunner Line installation, along with a contingent of Covenant. Afterwards, they would be stationed on Gamma Halo to clear the ring of any lingering threats. However, after the Mantle's Approach's destruction, the Didact would find himself on the ring. He would kill all of Black Team and the scientists stationed on the ring.

That sucks.... I really liked the team dynamic they had.
