Okay so I haven't really read any of the books other than Fall of Reach, Cole Protocol, and Ghosts of Onyx so my knowledge is limited on the forerunner saga. My question is: why did The Lord of Admirals totally glass the hell out of the planet without explaining/letting the Forerunners know about the flood?
