Never mind all the guys with their "never studied in my life" as this thread obviously isn't for them.
What it really sounds like is you're having difficulty assimilating the material. You may be studying so hard because it's hard for you to understand. Try talking to the teachers more or even looking into getting a tutor or going to study "clubs". It obviously sounds like you're interested in your education and probably on going past high school. It doesn't get any easier after so you better find out what works and what doesn't fast.

Yeah I think I don't understand as fast as everyone else and when I do, I forget the material due to not doing homeworks. And when I read for the tests I seem to forget every sentence I read. Guess I have no choice except for homeworks. Thanks for the advice.

Well, that's not totally true. You can look up methods for helping you remember. And, there's actually memory work built into homework. Half of the reason you do homework is to make sure you know the material, the other half is because when you wrote something/type something it implants it into your brain so much more than just reading it. That's why taking notes can be so important because you're physically writing what you're learning.
