PVP crybabies ruined Destiny
The 15% minority ruined the entire game with their pathetic Nerf-begging.

I agree the nerfs have ruined the pve part of the game for the most part but it has improved the pvp side and as much as we may not play that side there are 15% of players who do, bungie have gone about the patches wrong there is no denying that but the 15% can't be ignored its a game they brought aswell and even though we who play pve almost exclusively may not like it it has to be catered for there needs aswell as ours (if you are a pvp player please let me know how you felt about the patches I'm interested to see if you think it made as much of a brown splash to pvp as it did pve)

That chart is misleading. I like pvp more but spend more time in pve because the game forces you to do the PvE content over and over for loot. Crucible FTW

5 RepliesThey didn't ruin destiny for me. But they sure ruined pvp for me. I mean range adjustments to fit certain combat roles are one thing. The damage nerfs were totally uncalled for. Let's face it high ROF ARs were not that good to begin with and even they took a damage reduction. But the low ROF higher impact ARs were nice. They took the brunt of the nerf w a huge dmg reduction AND a range nerf. Jeez... If things like this keep happening, I'm not gonna stick around. It sucks cause I like destiny. But if Bungie is going to listen to all the whiners about what gun is Killing them the most then... I guess there is no hope for Destiny.

15 RepliesNo, destiny tracker diagrees. 64% of players regularly play the crucible. Check the general stats page. What's ruining Destiny is septic community members like you. I meet you in raids, demanding a Gjally, I meet you in PvP saying it's bad because you don't enjoy it. I meet you in strikes rushing through them because you forgot that the game isn't for gear. -blam!- you, and your posts.

1 ReplyIt's true. All they did was cry, cry, cry until they nerfd the weapons that were too strong for them. Now they are going to have to nerf shotguns and pistols because that's all anyone used anymore. You know what will happen when they do that? It will go back to the way it was when the game first released.

Who act as if every weapon tweak just [i]broke[/i] their favorite toy beyond repair, and that Bungie is somehow betraying them but not [i]instantly[/i] catering to their every whim. Kind of embarrassing for this PvE player to have to watch.

I'm starting to get a different idea from all of this. It's been stewing in my mind now for awhile. Bungie enthusiastically pointed out that they've had, what now, 16 updates with more on the way? Those patch notes would be pretty sparse without all the gobbledegook about weapons being tweaked so often. Pretty sparse indeed. Get where I'm going with this? That being said, most things in this game appear designed to artificially increase play time. An old argument, I know. So... how to increase it further? You like using a specific gun in PVE/PVP? The balancing was just changed. Learn how to use something else. Pulse rifles are great now, and you don't have one? Grind out the marks to get one, then grind out the bounties to upgrade it. Yes they needed the buff, but you get what I'm saying. Just food for thought. Perhaps just an "unexpected" benefit from making the game "better?"

3 RepliesYou're an idiot if you think that weapon balance is tuned via what people ask for. Statistics!!! There is a word you might want to learn. Bungie uses those to balance weapons and they have quite a lot of them.
