Everybody does NOT need a Gally. It is nice to have, but everybody that does not have one thinks it's a overkill weapon. It's not. You are not going to go into a Nightfall or similar level strike and drop the boss solo with it. Actually until you get to the Wolfpack rounds it is no different than any other launcher out there. I played over 800 hours before attaining one for myself. If every weapon and armor piece dropped at will, this game would be done. I felt the armor and weapons from the Crota Raid came way to easy personally when compared to the beginnings of VOG. Things should stay the way they are. Grind to Find.

The game is dying anyway. I've been playing from day 1. I only lack the gjallerhorn and the necrochasim as far as exotic weapons go. I jumped on for an hour or so to do 3 nightfall for this week and nothing else. I haven't cared enough to jump into a raid for 3 weeks now. Receiving a crux, or gjallerhorn won't get me interested either way. I also can't get either raid hand cannon, black hammer, or hezen vengeance(don't want this one). I've gotten at least 5 vex mythoclasts and not one fatebringer. With the amount of completions, of each raid, I should have received every raid weapon, if it was truely random. If the game refuses to reward for numerous completions, it is insane, by definition, to continue trying. Pvp is all that's left and on ps3 it is a lag fest. I'm upgrading to a ps4 soon, but if the pvp is as bad as ps3's, I may be done altogether.

Hopefully you and everyone else realizes that if you were to attain all those weapons the same exact thing would happen. You would loose interest. After all, once you attain everything possible what is the purpose of playing? Hence the reason for RNG. Nothing is guaranteed and you continue to play to hopefully attain what you are looking for. If you do not like this scenario, this game and many MMOs are not for you. There are times that I want to cuss out Bungie because I do a raid and only get shards or energy. Then there are those times that your stoked because you just landed something that you have wanted for a long time. It is part of the game, like it or not. There are other games out there that I don't care for and guess what. I don't play them, I don't buy there DLC, and I don't go on their forums and make pleas. If you enjoy the game play, if not go and try something else. Pretty simple.

The problem lies in bungie' version of random. Refusing to drop a select few weapons for each person, isn't a good way to keep people playing. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the game but, the drop system is bs.

That is true from time to time, but I still would not change anything. Bungie would loose far more players if everyone would attain everything. I have almost every exotic out there besides Hardlight, Obsidian Mind, and Ruin Wings. Two of those items I could of bought, but declined. That was my decision. Had the coins to do it too. Even with all of this I continue to play and enjoy the game. Now when I do the raids I am trying to attain armors better suited towards PvP or PvE setup within their own abilities. At least until the next chapter begins. Good conversation and good luck out there.
