Edit: Aaaaand... We're trending! A bit low, but we are trending! Thanks everyone! You guys are awesome! :D
So, 2 days ago I made a post where I created new ideas (Alongside a lot of you guys :D) for a bunch of Exotics for the Defender Subclass.
Here is the link: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/106240462/0/0
It was a big success, and it seemed like everyone really liked the ideas! Therefore, I decided to spend some time thinking about more of those, however this time, one for each subclass (Except Defender).
I would also like to ask people for opinions as to how to balance these Equips should they be considered OP.
Here's what I came up with:
Gunslinger
Exotic Hunter Helmet
Name: The Equation
Description:
The general theory of relativity states that once something reaches the speed of light, time appears to stop flowing to it. This helmet proves it.
Exotic Perk: Stasis Module
Shots from your Golden Gun leave their trajectories standing still in the air, dealing Solar Damage to anything that gets close to them.
Bladedancer
Exotic Hunter Chestplate
Name: Inflated Ego
Description:
Confidence is the most powerfull blade a man can wield. Overconfidence disagrees.
Exotic Perk: Megalomaniac
When you Arc Blade ends, you receive a buff to movement speed, along with grenade and melee recharge times for every kill you got during its usage. The effect dissipates after 45 seconds or if your HP reaches the Critical Zone.
Striker
Exotic Titan Gauntlets
Name: Universal Entrance Ticket
Description:
"Make way, or I will make you."
Exotic Perk: VIP
You can use your Shoulder Charge after sprinting less, it reaches further and at the end of the Charge, you also deal damage to anything on your sides.
Sunsinger
Exotic Warlock Chestplate
Name: Famous Last Words
Description:
"I will be back!"
Exotic Perk: Vengeance From Beyond
When Radiance is activated from the grave, anything close to your Ghost will receive Solar Damage.
Voidwalker
Exotic Warlock Helmet
Name: The Devourer
Description:
You can't help feeling that something is screaming from far away in your mind: "EVERYTHING IS BUT MY NOURISHMENT. NOW, THEY WILL BE YOURS."
Exotic Perk: Endless Hunger
You receive a slight buff to damage after using your Super for every kill you get with your Nova Bomb. The effect ends after 45 seconds or if the player reaches Critical HP.
So, what do you guys think? Any suggestions? Balancing tips? What are your ideas?
Also, here is something extra that I thought up. Hope you guys like it!
Here is another Concept I created:

Edited by SupermonkeyX: 3/10/2015 1:49:37 PMCat of the Traveler: Fusion Rifle Instead of firing multiple shots per charge it fires one very powerful shot.

Sharp Edge: exotic auto rifle-void damage-balanced Fire rate and and impact- medium range and stability-30 magazine-fast reload speed This is gonna hurt, a lot. Perk 1:increased weapon stability Perk tree: upgrade 1: 2+ agility Upgrade 2: increased ranged Upgrade 3: reload this weapon even faster Exotic upgrade:sharp edge-Increase fire rate when aiming down the sights while maintaining great stability
-
Edited by Robsim378: 3/9/2015 9:35:28 PMJust some perks I thought would be good Voidwalker: Scatter grenade submunitions now seek out enemies (Wolfpack round grenade) Sunsinger: self res makes no noise and you are invisible for five seconds after and while activating it Striker: provides enhanced death from above (ever used the lance perk on nova bomb? It's a much faster version of that) Defender: ward of dawn is larger, spawns more orbs, and does damage to enemies who enter it Bladedancer: stay invisible for full duration of invisibility, even if you attack Gunslinger: enhanced throwing knife and grenades (they travel in a straight line like lance nova bomb)
-
Exotic hunter chest Shield of light Exotic perk: Light Transfer Each kill with golden gun gives you an overshield (like warlocks scorch) each following kill refills the shield and increases duration slightly

Edited by an escaped duck: 3/7/2015 12:22:37 AMThis is a variation of a exotic idea I have published multiple times. Scout Rifle Scorch Into dust you shall return Rate of Fire: |||||||||| Impact: |||||||||| Range: |||||||||| Stability: |||||||||| Reload: |||||||||| Magazine: 17 Perks -This Weapon Causes Kinetic Damage -CQB Ballistics -Field Choke -Agressive Ballistics Performance Bonus: Kills with this weapon grant bonus reserve ammo. Send It: Increases Range and Accuracy Explosive Rounds: Shots do bonus damage in an area Armor Piercing Rounds: Rounds fired over-penetrate targets. Exotic Perk: The Phoenix This weapon sets your target on fire and has a chance to charge your grenade on a kill. EDIT: Want some more? Comment what

Edited by Orobas Rex: 3/7/2015 9:01:40 PMHand cannon name The Outlaw Flavored text: Feeling lucky? Perk: Punk: body shots knock back and head shots disorients target

Helm of the sunbros Warlock helm Perk: sunbro: every kill you get while in radiance will charge up you're next radiance. Yup pretty much a carbon copy of obsidion mind.
-
Yo dawg Exotic rocket launcher Exotic perk - gjallarhorn rounds This weapon fires gjallarhorn that shoot Wolfpack rounds. Three gjallarhorn per shot. "We herd u leik gjallarhorn so we put a gjallarhorn in ur gjallarhorn so you can gjallarhorn while you gjallarhorn."
-
There should be a gun that has as its exotic perk "shoots out of ward of dawn." It only works going out. That gun would be epic. Obviously, it would have to be a scout or hand cannon.
-
Exotic scout rifle death wish Before the grave there is death type: scout rifle rarity: exotic element: kinetic base damage: 300 maxed damage: 331 statistics: (compared to b-line trauma) Rate of fire: 37 / 40 Impact: 46 / 45 Range: 71 / 79 Stability: 54 / 52 Reload: 66 / 65 Magazine: 11 / 13 skill tree Tree 1: sight 1 / sight 2 / sight 3 Tree 2: full auto Tree 3: upgrade damage Tree 4: send it / explosive rounds / armour piercing rounds Tree 5: As you wish Tree 6: upgrade damage Tree 7: upgrade damage x3 legend: Full auto: this weapon can be fired in full auto mode. Send it: increased range and accuracy. Explosive rounds: volatile payload explodes on impact dealing a portion of the weapon's damage in an area. Armour piercing rounds: these iridium-core round over penetrate targets. Their mass slows down weapon handling. As you wish: each kill heals you and increases damage

I know this is completely irrelevant, but how about an exotic bounty that gives you your third subclass. Of course this will be a devious thing but here are the requirements (pvp/not pvp friendly). 1. While using your subclass kill ten of each enemy (no bosses or stuff just like dreg, vandal, captain, shanks and servitors for the fallen and etc). 2. Return to the speaker. 3. Go to your class specific vanguard like Ikora Ray and Warlock or Commander Zavala and Titans. 4. Go to Xur and buy an Arc Medal if Warlock because you don't have an arc subclass yet, Void medal for hunter, or Solar medal with Titan. 5. The PvP or not PvP part | If you want to do PvP fine you can just kill your class like I'm a hunter for example so I kill hunters with a void damage gun because I don't have the void subclass. So you kill warlocks with a arc weapon if you want to do PvP. Titan kills Titans with Solar weapon. 50 Kills in all if you die you lose 1/2 a point. 5. NOT PVP EXCEPTION just go do any raid three times and beat it no you can't just go do a Atheon checkpoint on normal no you have to go from beginning to end. 6. Return to the speaker with your Enhanced medallion. 7. Go to class specific vanguard. 8. Get medallion and equip in subclass slot 9. Wreck everyone with new subclass 10. Ideas for subclass(not in depth) Hunter since we need void how about a medical void ninja?????? Super would be able for you to shoot a teammate with a ball of void energy to heal them. Titan you need solar so why not a ball of solar energy like the sun but not that size like 1,000,000 times not that size that when hits the ground makes a giant explosion. So like Bills the God of Destruction in Dragon Ball Z Battle of Gods. Warlock you need a arc so would a arc gun work???? Not like golden gun but like kinda like it you use your super super which drops orbs of light but the gun does massive damage when hitting them but blinds them if they are still alive so you have a choice kill one thing or blind multiple to have a clear shot at the boss.
thanks for reading this far
Edited by gcw0068: 3/10/2015 1:22:53 AMAn explosive LMG, thunderous Rocket Launcher, ground-shaking Auto Rifle, and... a Hand Cannon to get you out of whatever mess you get yourself into. Here they are: FIRE EATER
Fire eater: exotic LMG -explosive rounds by default (lots of exotics have hidden perks) -firefly! -linear comp, SDC, FC -fitted stock, skip rounds, extended mag Stats: 54 in a mag, 88 with FS 16 range Fast ROF archetype-100 5 sec reload 47 non precise damage in PvP Poor stability hinders its performance- 23 Exotic Perk: Consumer: Successive hits on a target increases the chance for a Fusion Grenade explosion(w/o stick damage) to occur there. Note: at least 3 consecutive shots must be made to trigger. 3 shots = 25% chance 4 is 35 5 is 45 6 is 55... 10 is a 95% chance and 11 is for sure. In PvP this takes 3-5 shots to kill. Great against bosses. NOTE: explosive rounds reduce precision damage. Feel free to hipfire!
DEITY
Deity: Arc Rocket Launcher Mag-1 Velocity-above average Rof- 1 round per 2.3 sec Reload-3.65 sec Aoe: pretty large, explained below. Soft, confined, warhead verniers Field Scout (mag is still one, but can have more in reserves), fitted stock, javelin Perk one: clown cartridge Description: Causes Titan Striker Discharge effect in a radius around blast. Deals 165 damage, and 130 more pre-exotic upgrade. Exotic Upgrade: Rage Takes away the extra 130 damage and replaces it with a flashbang upon rocket detonation. This deals up to 140 damage, with falloff, and blinds the foe. Simulates thunder and lightning. Also spawns an upside down Lightning grenade that looks like lightning. After each pukse, the grenade respawns in a slightly different area within the area of effect of the initial blast. Simulates Lightning. As this goes on, an Arcbolt effect also occurs, simulating clouds and electricity (and moar Lightning). This deals up to 945 damage with the exotic upgrade. More than a gjallarhorn. However, this launcher lacks tracking, and has terrible reload speed, and less in a Mag. It relies on the blinding to keep enemies in its area of effect, but in PvP if they somehow survive they can escape easily enough. But still blinded. Great against ove majors, as they will be blinded and suffer, likely, all 945 damage, but against bosses, it is much less effective due to them moving away from damage over time. The reload speed and duration of shot effects allows one area to be controlled for a long amount of time at the expense of numerous rockets.
TREMOR
Exotic Auto Rifle, Tremor Ballistics: Field Choke Aggressive Ballistics CQB Ballistics Perk 1: Hip-Fire Modifiers: Fitted Stock Quickdraw Explosive Rounds Exotic Perk: Tremors- Grants capabilities of high caliber rounds, lightweight and fleet-footed while this weapon is equipped. This weapon can be used while sprinting. (note: while sprinting, it cannot scope, and it's accuracy is as inaccurate as in midair.) statistics: Rate of Fire: 90- A tiny bit faster than Hard Light Impact: 23 damage on headshots- A tiny bit more than HL Range: 32 Stability: 36 Reload: 97- 1.5 times as fast as Suros Regime Mag: 20 Reserves: 240 Main Pros: DPS, reload, performance boosts Main Cons: Mag Size, stability
COMPASS, the hand cannon!
Exotic Hand Cannon, dusty grey/ brown-gold stat overview -1 round per mag -113 headshot damage (so 75 body shot damage) (-Low ROF, 0.9 seconds to a shot [doesn't matter at all due to ammo per mag]) -fast reload speed (faster than even TLW) -best in class range, better than many Scout Rifles. Can reach 100 with range upgrades, making it quite literally a Sniper Pistol. -below average stability Perks: 1) Outlaw- precision kills with this weapon dramatically increase reload speed 2) CQB, linear compensator, field choke. Linear compensator and field choke lend just enough impact to kill with a body shot followed by a headshot. All these options progress from close range (CQB), where Compass is arguably less useful, to long range (field choke). 3) Flared magwell, custom optics, send it exotic perk Compass: Landing consecutive non-precision shots with this weapon increases the damage of its next precision shot. Stacks up to 3 times. -First non-precise shot = 8% bonus damage to next precision shot (so the precision shot deals 122 damage) -Second n-p shot= first apply the 8% bonus, -then- apply a 16% bonus to that. -Third n-p shot= apply the 8% bonus damage, then the 16% bonus, and then a 24% bonus. So, in PvP, this deals 176 damage, or 88% of a guardian's life. *note that if linear compensator or field choke is used, a body shot followed by a headshot will kill a guardian in Crucible, but if neither of these are used, a body shot followed by a headshot will fall just short of a kill. CQB is good for stability. I was thinking the reload animation could just be a hatch that pops out from the back, above the hand/grip, into which a single large shell is loaded using the guardian's left hand. but maybe not. And maybe the gun itself could be silver or grey but maybe not. And it could have a max ammo capacity of 40 or so but maybe not. Also note that missing any shot resets the damage boost effect.
EDIT: I have decided to change Compass' perk since it was similar to another. Here is the new and better version:
New: “Stack precision shots to increase precision damage. Non-precision shots/ misses reset damage output multiplier.” Multiplier now stacks from 8% 16% 24% 32%. Crucible body shots deal 75 damage without ballistic modifiers, and headshots deal 113/123/143/178/235 when landed consecutively. Keep in mind that Compass’ Outlaw perk only triggers on precision -kills-, and grants a 150% reload speed boost. Now, if a player demonstrates enough skill to land four consecutive precision shots, even despite having to reload and therefore re-aim after each shot, consecutive precision shots after that can one shot kill in Crucible, or two shot overshields. Damage does not stack beyond the level of 235 damage, and after the 235 damage shot is dealt, precision damage output for the next shot will have only an 8% modifier (as maxing the damage output causes reset). The addition of a one hit kill on the final stack makes this perk useful in Crucible, if only by the most skilled players. Note that Compass is difficult to use not only due to a combination of small magazine size and high recoil demanding constant target reacquisition, but also due to somewhat low aim assist in comparison to the other Exotic Hand Cannons.
The Masochist- Occupies primary, special, And heavy slots "Pleasure and pain are not so different" Primary-Pulse rifle High impact, low ROF Baseline stat: this weapon causes it's user damage while being fired, missing target increases damage Perks: don't honestly know but definitely quick draw in there Exotic perk: "Release"-precision kills instantly replenish Special Ammo magazine Special-Auto-rifle Low impact, high ROF Perks: for soon to be obvious reasons needs quick draw Two exotic perks: 1st: "Bring the Pain"-kills with this weapon instantly replenish primary weapon magazine 2nd: "Sadist"-dealing damage with this weapon heals the user Heavy-rocket launcher Haven't thought this one out completely but probably the radar on one and... Exotic perk: "THWUMP!"-rockets arc down after being fired. If detonated on a target the rocket breaks apart into smaller explosives and deals secondary damage. If detonated on ground one large explosion triggers 3 seconds later. Make it look like the Colonial Marines gun from Aliens please!

Edited by DangerMouseRoFl: 3/8/2015 5:43:16 AMI've been thinking hard recently about the new DLC that's coming to Destiny soon, and I wanted to make some ideas. Exotic Auto Rifle Name: Under The Bed Description: "Child, have you heard of the Boogeyman? He preys on those who close their eyes. That is why they invented the nightlight". Exotic Perk: Nightlight You deal double damage to invisible enemies Exotic Machine Gun Name: Juggernaut Description: "Salvaged from parts of a Cabal Heavy Slug Thrower, this weapon is unique in standards unrecognised among Guardians. You see, instead of firing heavy slugs, it fires unrelenting pain." Exotic Perk: Bullet Sponge You flinch less and shoot much faster while ADS Exotic Shotgun Name: Sticks and Stones Description: "They might sting a bit, but this WILL hurt you." Exotic Perk: Stone Cold This weapon fires slugs instead of regular ammo (this would increase range, impact and damage by a considerable amount, but destabilise it, shorten the magazine size and slow the firing rate) Exotic Scout Rifle Name: Metal Anarchy Description: "Total collapse in it's purest form." Exotic Perk: Chaos Damage Each round fired from this weapon is a different damage type (this would be excellent for rainbow burn in Nightfall activities) Exotic Fusion Rifle Name: Himneska Description: "Thought to born from the Traveller's light, this weapon is everything that the stories imply." Exotic Perk: Traveller's Grace This weapon deals double damage to shields (that means PvE enemy shields, player shields and Ward of Dawn) Note: 'Himneska' means 'heavenly' in Icelandic Exotic Titan Gauntlets Name: Open Hostilities Description: "Only in the thick of battle do the strongest survive." Exotic Perk: Grand Finale You may have Shockwave and Aftermath simultaneously Exotic Titan Helmet Name: Polypheme 47 Description: "You will protect them. You will fight with them. You will heal them. You are their sentinel." Exotic Perk: Unrivalled Light Your Ward of Dawn decreases the cooldown of allied Supers and drains enemy Supers (Teammate cooldown is decreased dramatically while enemy cooldowns go in reverse. This all happens INSIDE the WoD) Exotic Titan Chestpiece Name: Pachydermals Description: "They say this is the skin from a long extinct creature. However, nobody is quite certain if it was made from reinforced plasteel plating." Exotic Perk: Blast Shield Explosive damage from all sources is decreased by 50% Exotic Hunter Gauntlets Name: Strongarm Special Description: "...and that's all I could hear. Those victorious screams. Then, suddenly, silence." Exotic Perk: Home Run Your grenades travel twice as fast and pass through Wards of Dawn Exotic Warlock Chestpiece Name: Wise Ahamkara's Ribs Description: "Oh bearer mine, how does one learn the secrets of the wise?" "In death, young one." Exotic Perk: Secrets of the Dead You may use a grenade from another damage-specific subclass (so you could use a swarm grenade as a Sunsinger or a suppression grenade as a Voidwalker.) New Idea: Token of the Nine Just say you are playing any PvE or PvP game. You finish it and are waiting for your rewards. You spot that you have gotten a Token of the Nine. What the -beep- is that you say? This would be currency greater than any Strange Coin. This token, when given to Xur, would allow you to purchase anything from his shop at a decreased price. That exotic weapon you always wanted is now, for a one time use, 10 strange coins. The engram you have your eye on? 13 Motes of Light. Heavy Ammo synthesii is all you'll need to use in battle. These tokens would be part of random drops with the chance similar to exotic weapons. And they wouldn't be a repeated use either. One coin per week to spend, one may drop for you during the week and the cap is one in your inventory. This would prevent players from stockpiling them and buying copious amounts of good loot for cheap. New Idea: The Lottery Bot How about a lottery bot that appears in the Tower like Xur (on the weekend). Each player can go up to it and buy a lottery ticket. There would be a grand prize at random like an Exotic engram, weapon or armour piece, or a Commendation, or even a relic that could increase vendor rep, etc. If you don't win the prize then you'd get a message when you enter the Tower, but if you do win then you'd get a Lottery Package at the Postmaster. The prizes wouldn't be shown either, because some people might only buy tickets if they wanted to get Icebreaker or Heart of the Praxic Fire. I have more ideas, but i'll get there.
