Spartan 3's? They were the mass produced children spartans. They were like the weakest of all the generations. Go for either 2 or 4 maybe.

Spartan 2 was the first small batch of kids who survived, spartan 3's were when they successfully changed all/most of the kids, spartan 4s are adults who weren't raised as soldiers.
