Well first, why not teppelin, and second, team gurren isn't very strong without mechs. Remember, the soldiers get no vehicles.

Most of them are workers and such and such for the big ass mechs. You really cant operate a battleship without a crew. Also, teppelin is practically a superweapon and in your other one you said none of those.
