Nightfall are the worst how is acendant shards even worth anything to anybody doing nightfall at lvl 30 if you doing it at lvl 30 your at a point where you no longer require ascendant mats I'm lvl 32 at worst should be awarded with radiant mats bungie need to get their act together and 2weeks in a row now iv also had to witness my friend being awarded exotics when I get sharded with ascendent's

I'm not saying they do owe me anything where the hell did I say that. I'm just saying they should scale the rewards better ascendent shards are pretty much worthless to those doing nightfall and that radiant mats would be a more suitable lower reward also if you read the description of radiant mats they say they are treads in nightfall but iv yet to see them appear and I'm sure that there isn't anyone on here that's seen them appear as reward

You're acting and basically stating that yu and other of high level deserve better rewards whether it's high end of low end and realistically you don't why should you or I or any other 32 deserve a better quality lower end reward, night falls for one are not even the slightest bit difficult and it's not like the grind to level 32 is difficult to the extent that you're above others. Be grateful you at least receive those shards or energy because there is a extremely good chance they will be brought back into use in HoW or another expansion in the future.

Where did I state that people lvl 32 deserve better I nearly said that the rewards are of no use toe being lvl 32 and that radiants instead of ascendent mat should be more available hell even throw in black wax idols as they are now deemed a form of currency and those that are lower lvl that I did not make reference to originally I to think that you should receive the same rewards as I was not in any way stating that you deserve less as argued by this person attempting an argument

They're useless and should receive rad mats instead rad mats would be a higher more valuable lower end reward compared to ascendant. Yes you're stating they would be better but implying they should give them out instead and really they shouldn't they don't owe you better materials or rewards or any at all hey should give out materials at all as they are earned quite often and easily in raids especially if you have three characters

I said at worst they should not saying that they owe me a thing at no point did I comment or reference the word owe I implied that they should scale rewards and there is no random in the rewards table as each reward do not have the same chance of dropping if you weight a reward so it has a higher chance of dropping it removes the random out of the equation and becomes a weighted drop rate like a dice it has six sides roll it and you have a random 1 in six chance of rolling any of the numbers weight one side and you give the opposite side a greater chance of being rolled

Completely agree with you Gareth. It should be weighted. According to Mamo 'Nightfalls aren't hard', you know that might be the case but some people do have lives, and work, and other activities. Nightfalls can be TIME CONSUMING along with weekly, daily, raids etc especially if you have 3 characters. Doing 3 nightfalls in one setting only to get bullshit is unnerving and frustrating, especially if it is consistent. In no way did Gareth make a 'we deserve this, or Bungie owes us that' type of comment. It makes sense, weight it. I hate when people side with game developers/companies blindly, we have the money, WE have the purchasing power. I'm not saying nothing bad about Destiny or Bungie, but blindly sucking off a company and telling a fellow gamer to 'be happy with what you have' pisses me off. You get enough people tired of a game aspect eventually they quit playing, get them fed up beyond the breaking point they will never buy another title you release again. Look at Rockstar games as an example. I highly doubt any future GTA titles will ever come close to their past success.
