Effective as it is at killing oracles, I still prefer to use super good advice on oracles and black hammer on Atheon. For those who don't know, oracles do not count as hits, and with the super good advice perk, you can unload a constant stream on them and the detainment shield. Very useful. I beat Atheon starting with 13 bullets in the magazine once, was down to 2 when he was killed.
