The yellow lines, which are clear, then white, then yellow, are experience/score tracker lines. The location cards are simple, just go to a place or talk to a person and there you go. The score counter cards mean that you have to get X amount of kills with such and such weapon or you must kill this many of these guardians with this type of guardian. If it is a description card, then no yellow lines.

Some Grimoire cards have them, and some don't. If there is a way to get the yellow bar under that Grimoire card, I can't figure it out.
