Here's what I heard from a source close to BUNGIE. As for the initial upgrading of exotics to 331, that's changing with house of wolves. That shouldn't be happening again. Anyone with a fully leveled exotic may just be charged some coins or motes. (Haven't heard about the cost yet. It's a guess) but if wolves gives xbox the same shit raid as crota, I'm going to be disappointed. As for those "obsolete" weapons, I'm still killed by a fatebringer now and then in pvp. Would it fail in the banner? Probably. But normal crucible is still the same damage table. Shadow price is still viable. Sadly, I broke it for the energy. I still have doctor nope and super pox vlo. They serve their purpose. Hope this helps.
