I know that if you have a fully upgraded exotic weapon, even if you haven't actually bought the perks, it'll give you two exotic shards when you dismantle it. But I dismantled my no backup plans and they were fully upgraded and I only got one shard. I'm not sure if it was a bug or if armor only gives you one. Now I have a starfire protocol that I really don't want cause it's crap and I'm not sure if I should upgrade it before dismantling. Any help?
