I don't have any...but I am not a hard core gamer (though I've logged a lot of destiny hours!) and I'm not lying for attention (unlike most posts I see here)...you can check my profile but I've only got one hunter, never done any raids, and have both guns mentioned. Engrams don't decrypt to other slots regardless of moving up or not because otherwise they could not have the room for it.

A legendary can move up to an exotic, but a leg can never be something else. If this did happen there would be the possibility of infinitely losing that item.

Oh, then what the other poster said is correct, I wrote leg but it was short for legendary...sorry for the confusion.
