This is taken entirely out of context. Isn't it talking ABOUT the traveler being pushed?

That's one possibility, but it is more likely about a Guardian, since it talks about a journey, the journey the players made in the game to find their destiny. It also talks about believing in something. The Guardians appear to be the ones believing that it is their own destiny to revive the Traveler, unless... they are being pushed.
