But you asked what makes Exotics desirable. It is the weapon perks.

The perks which make the weapon OP? The perks are still there for SUROS but since the weapon is no longer OP it is no longer desirable. Therefore, it is the OP nature of the exotic and not the perks which make it desirable. Thank you for making my argument for me.
