If i level doing parallel missions and then do story does it make it easier or does the enemy go off same level as you. I ask because I'm new to these fighting games and I chose a saiyan which we all know have low health lol

It makes the story much easier I beat it yesterday and I was level 52 but the bosses were 68 I think.

Just do parallel quest the harder the quest the more experience you earn.

Awesome. Do you have to play as you character to get him exp or can you do parallel as say ssj4 vegeta and still level him up?

You can level Up playing as any character

That I could not tell you I just use my character but I would imagine that you can you can test it out with a real easy quest.
