IMO, this was one thing bungie did right. Autos are the easiest weapons to use in PVP.

Then what is the problem with nerfing them in PVP and leaving them alone in PVE, because I'm telling you that in PVE they have one of the higher TTK now.

Actually, I think they need to be buffed in pve! It makes the game more casual friendly. I love when people use ARs in PvE because my handcannons beat them out almost everytime...its practically unfair. I want more people to use ARs than Handcannons tbh

I like your idea, give them a buff in PvE it most definitely needs it. PvP is fine.
