85% think that Auto's need a buff, bungie hasn't acknowledged thousands of people. I'm doing what I can to keep up this thread.
THIS IS MORE PVE GEARED THAN ANYTHING ELSE BUFF NON GUARDIAN DAMAGE
85% think Bungie messed up
A Great Video Explaining the Negative Effects brought on by 1.1.1:
http://youtu.be/GMQ_f4NoNVc
Auto's will always be the most popular, people are familiar with them. That's how it goes.
It's not fair you ruin these weapons and make them unenjoyable just because they are popular.
Scouts will become next most popular then you'll nerf those. It's not right.
Edit: I believe pretty strongly in this, I love my Suros, Hardlight and Monte Carlo, sadly they don't live up to there names. Please bump if you agree, I want to have a shot at change (=

Over 10,000 votes requesting a buff. Lets go Bungie!
Major Edit: Appears some are too lazy to actually look at the thread showing the amount of nerf each weapon received, so I will post here, know that these are not my results but another supporter in the community.
Actual % of Nerf
Suros Regime: 14% (Impact Rating: 28)
HardLight: 6-9% dependent on first tree attachments (Impact Rating: 9)
Abyss Defiant: 6.3% (Impact Rating 8)
Monte Carlo: 6.3% (Impact Rating 8)
This is far off the "2.5%" released by Bungievision.
Edit: Greatly appreciating all the support, this is the only way to get Bungie's attention and get our Auto's back! I'd like to invite any Bungie admin/mod/ninja/Deej to pass this on to devs. Need you guys.
Edited title to sound more professional.
Please write bump, amount of replies has a direct correlation to Bungie paying attention.

Even Vanquisher and Suros take too long to kill with now so I'll stick with scouts and hand cannons for the time being
-
Absolutely. Auto rifles are pretty much useless now.
-
Guns like the suros regime should never go back to how they were, however hard light could use a buff. I think instead of buffing and nerfing all of a gun class they should balance each gun individual.
-
My favourite weapon, the Vanquisher viii feels awful now. The only weapon that feels unaffected is the monte Carlo.
-
-
Bump.
-
i agree the last update 1.1.1. was a horrible mistake.
-
Help us please bungie
-
I've always been a firm believer that autos were the way to go, after the 1.1.1 patch I put the abyss defiant and hard light away and switched back to scout rifles and hand cannons. Lost interest in autos when I could get more done with other guns
-
I'm a day one guy and auto rifles have always been the bees knees, in every game I've ever played. Recently destiny is not one of those games
-
Yeah my up for anything shouldn't be sitting in my vault #thanksbungie
-
Better players had already gravitated towards Handcannons and Scouts (for pve at least) because they were ALREADY SUPERIOR TO AUTO RIFLES. There was no need to discourage anyone from using them, in my opinion. All it does is punish pve players (who make up the majority of players, Bungie...!!).
-
Auto rifles suck in PvE now.
-
Agreed. Playing PvE with my Titan the other day I thought I'd have more luck with a butter knife... Can't comment on PvP as I haven't played it much with my Titan since the patch. Good job I did some grinding for a Red Death shaped package from Xur this weekend!

Edited by ISHALLNOTBEBEAT: 3/15/2015 10:23:08 PMAutos were really popular because people are very familiar with full auto weapons
-
Bump Also, the 2.5% average is complete shit. Max RoF auto rifles received a 2.4% nerf, and then the 2nd highest RoF received around a 6% nerf. So unless 95% of the auto rifles in this game have max RoF, I don't see how 2.5 can be an average.
-
I'd like my Necrochasm to be more than a glowing, useless trophy. Not a single one of the max RoF autos needed ANY nerf, damage, range or otherwise... Hell, none of the Auto Rifles PERIOD were in need of their shitty attempt at "balancing", and I'm a hand cannon user. But some of the legendary and exotic AR's were great for some situations, like Abyss Defiant for Wizards or anything with a solar shield, Suros for the raid (though I used Red Death if I really needed healing and there were no orbs), and some people just plain like using them. Necrochasm, while being a mostly separate topic, needs a 4-5% boost, not just the 2.5% back, plus a 60 round clip, and the Cursed Thrall explosion should happen every single time, since it doesn't seem to do any more damage or have a wider radius that the regular firefly perk, meaning Fatebringer beats it in damage and crowd control, since it headshots far easier than a max rate of fire auto rifle. Also replacing cascade with spray and play would be great, but not as necessary as the other things. With all the trouble I went through to get it, it needs to be able to do a lot more than provide a shiny light show in patrol.
-
I get the PvP nerf (though it went too far) but they should separate PvP & PvE. They're entirely useless against high lvl PvE enemies.
-
Honestly BungHoleVision are laughing at us. We can post/petition/cry tears all we want they will not do jack chit. It's to late for most of us now as we have already purchased the session pass for both DLC's. If we really really want them to take notice of us boycott the next DLC until we get what we want simple. Nothing hurts a business more than no cash flow. Yeah yeah I know I know people will still buy it regardless but unless we try and force a change this is what video games are coming too.
-
Wake the hell up bungie, auto rifles are worthless now
-
No reason for the nerf The range on some was needed but the damage nerf made autorifles useless You don't see much of them in pve anyways or pvp now Nerfing weapons based on players choice is something no developer has done and that just shows us bungie doesn't care about player choice If it continues like this where they cater to pvp then I'm done with this game GTA got more content and heist is out The potential in this game could be so much more if bungie just listens
-
Auto rifles r pretty bad now they r the new pulse rifles
-
-
-
Yep, no reason to use an auto rifle in PVP any more. Bungie is just chasing their tail. The pulse rifle buff with and the auto nerf was too much change at once.
