because chest loot is clearly more hardworking that doing 3 weekly heroic strikes every week right? and I'm pretty sure just about everyone in this game has raided by now you special little snowflake

Yes, it does take more work to do countless raids every single week and grind hard with your friends than it does to do 2 missions

Who says you have to do the whole raid to get the chest? You can go on the forums and go add someone giving it out for free, or do the Templar only just to get to the chest. Not that hard. This game is based on RNG. When you grind for coins and buy something from Xur, you earned the coins to buy that item. You open a chest and get lucky.

At least when you open a chest, it's a very small chance you get an exotic. It keeps things rare. With Xùr, everyone is capable of having a certain weapon if he sells it

A chest is luck! RNG! Get that into your thick skull. When you do a weekly strike, you earn the coins to buy Xur's inventory. Most of the game is RNG, so when you open a chest, it's luck.

Ok but it's no skill involved when you find an exotic in a chest. RNG=Luck. You can't deny my points that no skill is involved from a chest. I also already said this game is based on RNG. You earn an exotic in my opinion when you get it in Nightfall, Crucible ( if you did good that match ), or buying it from Xur because you earned the coins.

It does take no work to get to that chest now. Go on the forums and you will find people handing out that chest like candy. You can also just do the Templar to get Fatebringer and a chance of an exotic. Two good guns in a row. I like the people who do the entire raid with a group which half the people on these forums probably don't do.

I do every raid, every week, all legit. But by buying a weapon that is SUPPOSED to be found through RNG and claiming you have earned it because you did 1 easy mission, you do not deserve the right to say you've earned it. Not in this game, maybe in Call of Duty

your skull is too thick to understand you get random drops and everybody earns shit the same way. I raid too. 3 times every week for both raids. doesn't mean I have to get all butthurt every time xur sells something "rare"

Good for you, but for us people who grind to find stuff that way, and get lucky enough to find great gear, it gets irritating when these weapons are given away

how do you know other people don't grind the literal exact same amount as you and don't get the stupid drop? what about the people who play once a week and get a drop you want from a nightfall that they got carried through? did they EARN it?

If they got it from a nightfall drop then good for them. I just tip my hat and continue to grind.
