If you want a weapon so bad to be customized to your character, make a suggestion to bungie. Weapon customization..? Skins for weapons?Open your minds, broaden your approach. I did go through atheon crota and night fall with no burn and got screwed. I already have universal remote though but im def buying arachnid. Its the last exotic armor piece i need for hunter. Now ill have em all. :)

It has nothing to do with earning or value. There is no PSP economy in this game. Many on-line games find many players in the exact same spot in the game, be it level, gear, trophies, etc. Some gamers have such fragile egos that wrap up so much of their IRL self worth into a video game they desperately seek alternate takes on reality that makes them somehow "better" than someone else in the exact same spot.... in their minds. They make up cute names for stuff, twist and rationalize in really contorted ways all in a desperate grab for a little ego self-stroking. While it is all rather transparent, it is no longer amusing as these type of posters will just grow more bitter as more non RNG ways to level up and acquire gear are added. I have chosen to remove these type or irrational posters from my Bungie.net experience and it is certainly helping the signal to noise ratio. Try it. #click #click #mute

Xur has to sell exotics because the rng screws people. There are simply not enough exotics or unique weapons in this game for anyone to have their own special weapon.

Hell, yesterday I saw two friends both get Vex Mythoclast and one also got Suros Regime from the Atheon drop on Hard VOG, and I got a ship. Your understanding of value is out of whack. These aren't precious stones. Their value is in their utility, not their lack of proliferation through the player base. So while this thread smells awfully of troll, others feel legitimately about this.
