Edited by JHarv: 2/28/2015 1:33:05 AMlets face it bad players need hand outs good players dont need handouts because theyll be good with anything, or theyll do what they need to do acquire those items. i guarantee if there was never ever a xur. he just didn't exist. primeguard and invigorate would still have every exotic in the game, joe random idiot who players 2 hours a week would have next to nothing. is it because the good players who play alot were luckier? no, they increased their chances at drops by actually playing. it's the players that feel like "hey, i dont need to put time into anything, but i still want everything" that ruin gaming. just because you exist doesnt make you special. if i have something you dont, too bad, so sad. cry about it. play more and up your chances.

They are "exotic", not "super rare". You misunderstand their purpose in the game. They are their to encourage different play style. I have played since beta on three characters, raids and nightfalls on all three every week. Last week I spent 160ish motes to get hopf and I don't mind it's being sold this week. I still don't have the 'Horn. But, "meh". The only "scrubs" are those that think gear they obtain through rng is based on some entitlement like skill rather than luck. You can increase your chance of getting gear by playing events that drop gear more often, but in the end, you can put the time in and still not get what you want, or by your standard, deserve.

What makes it worth anything? It cant be sold or traded....I dont get it. If your'e losing at PVP, it's not the guns lol.You could literally go into PVP at level 2 and get a positive K/D...

Didn't even bother reading. Just read the title, and felt like letting you know I muted you for making [b]another[/b] pointless post. These posts plague these forums and I am sick of seeing them. Guess what, the HotPF from Xur will forever have a set stat bonus, so [b]everyone[/b] will know if you bought it from Xur. Who cares anyways?! I seriously wonder what sort of impulse you feel when you wake up and see Xur is selling an exotic you own. All I feel is "meh"... Because I already have them all and don't care.

If these exotics hold ANY value to you, you need help. The guns are good. the guns are part of the game. everyone should be able to use the guns by getting drops or patiently waiting for Xur to sell it. either way my guns will be useful regardless of how many there are.

9 RepliesI read the beginning of your post and already see it's wrong. We did grind trough VoG, CE, Nightfall. But we also did weekly. We grinded EVERYTHING, just like you. You got it as a random drop during one of these activities. We bought it with strange coins when it randomly was for sale. We both grinded.
