If Xur sells Ghorn! Then I'd be ok with that and I wouldn't go crying to the forums because I'm not a snowflake anymore. My story is, I challenged the darkness of the weekly heroic to earn my strange coins for weeks on end, until Xur finally sold (insert exotic here). So get rekt, snowflake.

Some of us so the nightfall 3 times a week and get Jack from rng. This my first decent week in over a month. I got suros and 2 engrams that turned to shards. I did the raid and got engrams and shards. I work 2 jobs and go to school full time so I don't get to raid all the time. Xur is for those who aren't so fortunate to have many good drops. You really should reevaluate your life if this is what makes you angry.

I've already been dropped everything he has more than once and if you've only seen universal remote 15 time your not playing a lot I've been dropped that gun about 6 times and seen my whole clan get the drop it's far from rare just no one used it

I understand what you are trying to say, but you have to stop saying earned. Of course you didn't earn your universal remote, you got lucky. But I agree that Xur kills the exotics. Your argument will be more valid if you say you got lucky with it, but now everyone has it. I completely agree with your side, but every arguing it says they earned their stuff, and that's what makes others mad. So... You go to the forums to cry about it. While I think Xur was a mistake; he's a part of the game. Get over it. Bungie realized they 'goofed' and made exotics too rare and added a "random" vendor to counter that. The gaming industry has aimed towards casual play. I'm not going to argue over wether or not that is a good thing. However, I remember the good old days... When gaming was difficult and if your character died you would drop all your gear onto the ground (original Diablo). There's no point complaining about Xur. The damage is done. He has been handing out exotics since September. Bungie isn't going to remove him. Not only that, but the majority love Xur for selling exotics they haven't been lucky enough to get as drops.

Who cares what you have and what Xur sells, I received uni remote 30 minutes before Squiggly face showed up in the tower from the nightfall, did I care that it was now for sale no. You self-centered people have no place in this community, your pointless posts about "earning" are worthless. If you've ever earned anything in life you would understand how small and petty you and the rest of your spoiled brats who makes these post are. Help the community get better, provide positive feed back about problems in the game. Xur is the only reason so many people still play this game, if the only way exotics could be gained had been from the extremely random rngness 80% of people would have quit. The people you describe as "casuals" are the people virtually all videogames are designed for, people who want to spend anywhere up to 2 hours a day of their free time on gaming, but who dont want the game to be unplayable when they dont open it for a week or two. Xur helps out great for those people who get the option to buy 1 random exotic weapon per week. This doesn't devalue exotics, they are still as awesome to use as they were before Xur sold them, him selling them does not change their gameplay. if the reason you hate Xur is that you don't want others to enjoy the weapons you like, you should just stop playing anything with other people and focus on single player games, there others can't ruin your experience by trying to enjoy the game as well.

You know you could easily buy it from Xur too? You did not have to grind Crota or VOG for insane hours that most people don't either have the time, patience or even care about. The good thing is that skill does not come from the weapon you have so if its a matter of "beginners are better because they have a strong weapon", don't fret. The weapons are there to give you different playstyles, not to necessarily make you a better Destiny player. I'm good with it, but then again, I don't like bragging. Especially about randomly generated items.
