Should try to get gear for both pve and pvp. No one cares if you are 32 to be honest. Your gear in raids would be detrimental to the team because it lacks raid perks and raid gear in pvp is usually the same as lvl 31 gear and just provides extra ammo or reload speeds.

What? So I have a chance of maybe spawning an orb of light with my grenade whilecthrow by it at hive. And even then there is like a 1% chance it will create an orb. Titan and warlock melee perk for spawning orbs is a lot more useful than my dogged gage.

He doesn't need raid gear for hours team if he isn't going to raid, so it doesn't matter. Honestly, good for him. Raid gear is the sole reason why customization sucks in Destiny
