Omg guys did you hear about this new restaurant that's open, let's go eat there!
*after arriving at the store*
Ok guys, we had to go on the roof and come in through an emergency access hatch, but we made it, let's eat!
Hey where's all the food?
Where's the silverware?
Where's the menus?
All the tables and chairs are out and they have a now opening sign on the door, why can't we eat?
*door busts down*
What the hell are you punks doing in here, we don't open till march!
Who are you?
I work here, and I'm setting things up to get ready for the grand opening!
But the sign is already on the door?
The sign was already finished, so we just left it there till we got finished with the rest of the place, now scram before I call the cops.
*this is the destiny community in a nutshell*
The content is there, but its not ready yet, breaking and entering it before it's ready does not mean you can play it and it's automaticly disc locked.
Those mobs that are in there are for bug testing purposes.

like the analogy it make me laugh

I mean people on here can protest and complain and they are just trying to fight against the way all businesses operate. Also there is so much complaining and it makes it seem like people want what they want and want it right now. I mean there is some bugs that they should fix but people get it in there head and are so entitled.
-
True, but unless you're working for Bungie, this is speculation. For all we know, they were finished with the whole thing long ago. Aren't they working on the second one? Again, we'll never know. It doesn't matter anyway.

This is just great. Perfect comparison.

Nice analogy. +1

Actually good

A good analogy for a change.

Edited by LokiShinigami: 2/26/2015 7:50:41 PMAnd you keep sounding like a broken record with the same comebacks everytime. Offering no real discussion.

Awkward this is the first time I've talked to you

You ( as the community) keep using the same two lines when it comes to the cut content vs dlc debate. Those saying cut content always use: 1. stop being a sheep 2. Stop making excuses It's the same lines over and over, meanwhile everyone else defending it as dlc have been explaining and actually contributing to trying to prove it's dlc.
-
Edited by Unforgiven: 3/4/2015 4:41:03 AMI think you insult your lack of knowledge more by prolonging the debate. We simply posted that this stuff is on Disk, then fanboys came out snapping. Chill kid. One thing is to say it doesn't exist. When there are actual videos of these maps on youtube. You cannot deny it. Dare to deny it then! 10 of my comments got erased on these forums. They are obviously hiding something. They closed off these areas. If they didn't have anything to hide then why change it?
-
Because people had to glitch out the map to get to them, that's breaking and entering
-
Thats content already on Disk which is made which was suppose to be in the main game, but was cut to be sold to us as DLC for an additional l$40.

"They still have to add spawns, that's what's worth 40 bucks" Corporate pawn

Troll logic . . .

In reality we all know bungie and I. It weren't for their little civil war and split they'd probably have been a lot more productive with their time and had more in the game as planned but life happens and some things had to be cut to make a deadline. That's pretty obvious to everyone and it sucks but it's still a decent game. The locked content bit you described was probably meant for the launch but didn't make it so they set their teams aside to work on them as dlc after the dust had settled from their split. Honestly I'd have been happy to pay $10 a piece for each bit of it they put out because it is a relatively low amount of content for the price it's at and it probably was intended for launch but I understand some things get cut to make it later after launch but they still need to be paid for too. Dlc is the solution to that and I do in fact support it as long as the price is right. Activision being behind them doesn't help our case though due to their money grubbing greedy way of controlling the gaming world. They'll hand out camo's for weapons and boosts to get ahead, while rehashing the same game to sell year after year until enough people don't buy their game they have to change something a little. Evolve and turtle rock went the same route with their $5 skins that do anything for me.... I'm not even sure I'll buy the four hunters or new monster due to the wicked high price tags but at least I get the new maps for free..
who am I kidding... I'll probably buy the monster/hunters eventually after I find out everything about them >_>
-
Im on ps4 with evolve. I bought the season pass but thats to support the game since we get free modes and other things, but the skins are outrageously op. 5.99 for weapon skins and 6.99 for monster skins. The wapon skins is only for individual classes not every hunter class. That is pretty high. Anyways, if yoyd like a hunting buddy hit me up.
hazmattx
I need me some Ps4 friends so I'll definitely send you a request tonight man! I'll be on in a couple hrs. Luckily the skins don't do much other than Potentially help you blend so I feel no pressure to buy that outrageously priced stuff. I even feel the hunters and monsters are priced high but they aren't a huge developer either with some huge budget ( like bungie and destiny are ) so I understand why they'd request a higher amount as well.
-
Sweet looking forward to the request. But is that turtle price for skins etc or 2k?
-
It was turtles I do believe. Cause they got backlash for it and their Co defended it and later on 2k president also defended their marketing strategy.
