Disc refers to compact disc. (As in what we put in our console)[spoiler] can't wait for ten years from now when it's all digital bit we still say "it's on the disc"[/spoiler] Disk refers to floppy disk and hard disk. (As in computer storage devices that were used to take over the world in the 90's)
