Are you saying I'm mad? Or he is mad, because only one of us is angry.
Its him.
Verdickt dude
-
Yeah, he got kin of angry... I think he's still kind if angry. But since you knew who the angry person was, I gift to you 10 forum points.

In all of the cutscenes I've ever seen, I've never seen master chief to have hunter attributes. If anything he goes head into things and blows everything up. Including giant rings and ships. I'd say he's more like a warlock always attempting to gain more knowledge and is an aggressive fighter like a Titan. And he does read space books. Spartans go through a strict program where they are thought about all the explored universe and thought head to head combat to get the job done. If you want to be technical. He had to be sneaky to survive? The only reaso he hasn't died is because he has luck. That green guy from noble six was a hunter thou. #nerdyshit #butthurtforthewin
-
Titans don't have to be sneaky, they jus smash. Chief without his armor, what do you get? A Warlock? No he doesn't have magic. A Titan? Well he's strong, but not overly panicky. A Hunter? Well he does like being alone and doesn't like talking to people. I'm willing to say that Chief is half Titan and half Hunter, but no more than that, and he has nothing in common with warlocks. The green one is Jun, by the way. You can have Jorge(the big one).
-
Your saying he's hunter because he likes being alone and doesn't like conversing. But master chief is shown to be friendly with people like arbiter, cortana, Johnson, and keys often exchanging a sarcastic remark of some kind. And he welcomes companion ship in a way as shown with his excellent teamwork with arbiter. The only reason he'd prefer to run solo as to not put the life of his fellow comrade in danger, hunters are more solitaire than that. They hardly exchange monologue with fire teams. Even conversation with their ghost is rare.

Edited by Vilhelmus II: 3/1/2015 4:50:59 AMThe only reason he worked with Arbiter was because Johnson ordered him to. Have you read the books? Master Chief killed four ODSTs because they wouldn't leave him alone, and you think he doesn't like people around him because they might get hurt? Chief rarely even talks, when he does its usually sarcastic or cynical. Chief doesn't trust very many people, but those he does trust have earned it, Keyes he knew since he was six, Johnson and the Arbiter fought beside him, Cortana was given to him by Halsey, and has been with him for years. So she's the equivalent to the ghost in Destiny. And Hunters have those. His speed and reflexes also demonstrate his Hunter side, as he was one of the fastest of the Spartan IIs. Another note one could take is his battlefield problem solving, making things work when it's just him, and his constant infiltration into unknown territory. He was originally designed for one purpose, to be the ultimate killer, Spartans were created to hunt down and kill insurrectionists. That was his purpose, to hunt. So yes, he has many qualities that would make him a Hunter.

Those are really the attributes of an Exo more then a hunter.
-
Those are all traits of a Hunter. Every last one of them. Why do you think the traveller made Hunters? To hunt down creatures of the dark, or to do exactly what Titans do? Wouldn't serve much purpose waisting energy and power to create something entirely different, merely for it to to the same thing as the others. Hunters, such as Cade-6 are cynical and sarcastic, hunters are the fastest class, and apparently have the fastest reflexes, they are usually used for recon or scouting, the prefer to be alone and don't trust anyone who hasn't earned it.
-
Except master chief wasn't "created" for recon and scouting. To say those are one and the same for hunters and master chief is straight up incorrect. Exos were made to search and destroy just like master chief. Titans were created to be one man armies. An Exo Titan would be the closest thing to master chief
-
Exos were made to search and destroy just like master chief.
Search and destroy, so basically Hunt A target. Hunting is what Hunters do. And yes, Chief was created, in a manner of speaking, since he was taken when he was six, trained and then biologically augmented to be the best killer there is. Stop trying to say, "no, Exos are more like hunters than hunters are" it really doesn't make any sense at all.
-
I'll agree his original goal might have been to be a hunter(in and out missions) but as time progressed he became more like an Exo Titan, he became a front line asset. Used to tank and adapt to scenarios. Hunters aren't tanks. And their ability to adapt is no where near that of a exos
-
You're really unwillingly to accept that Chief's personality is that of a Hunters. Alright, let's see what he's done in recent Halo games. Halo 2; Go assassinate the prophet of regret. Halo 3; infiltrate flood ship and retrieve Cortana. Halo 4; sneak into the Didact's ship and kill him, and destroy Composer. Pretty sure that's what a Hunter does, but wait, there's more. Halo 4; track down the last remaining marines in the forest. Halo CE break into the covenant ship and rescue the captain while the covenant and flood are busy with each other. Halo CE; Infiltrate the silent cartographer and collect as much as data as you can. I could continue, but I hope you get the point. The reason I'd be willing to say he is 50% both Hunter and Titan is because what he does is what a Hunter does, infiltrate, scout new regions, assassinate, etc. but depending on how the player goes through it can make the difference, but if we are going solely by the books than that means the Chief uses far more stealth and cunning then he does strength and punching.
-
Those are missions given to a Titan... You don't send your snipers to go head on with the enemy but it seems like you're pretty set on this so I'll take my hat, be a gentleman and see my way out of this
-
*sigh* That made no sense at all.
-
You don't play a lot of halo do you? He was made to be able to do anything in any situation recon, scout, one man army, hell catch a rocket, and many more.
-
Well if you played the games you'd know he tanks everything. The noble six team focused more and stealth
-
Yeah he does. I wasn't say he didn't did I. In one of the books he caught a rocked and it exploded in his face.
-
Exactly why I'm saying he's more like an Exo Titan. Bred for any sort of occasion but always in the front lines.
-
Yup. Sorry for the grammar. Auto correct is a bitch.
-
It's fine
