How Many Attempts Did It Take You To Get A Crux?
You know, I normally am not lucky to get good things quickly. So, I was starting to wonder how long it had taken you, my fellow Guardians, to get a Crux? A lot of people I asked so far have said they got theirs around 4 - 7 attempts until one of them drop (I even had a friend who had one drop on his very first attempt). I been doing my own personal poll on how long it had taken others to get the infamous Crux of Crota. When have you gotten your Crux of Crota?
Edit: Thank you all for replying to this thread. I got my Crux at around like 20 tries. My Nechrocasm has become my favorite weapon. I also hope all of you who haven't got one yet gets it.
Edit 2: Wow! 400+ replies! I've never had a thread go past 5 replies before! Thank you guys for all sharing your accounts to when you got yours. Some of you have gone through some extreme hours to get one. I really hope the Necrochasm gets a buff soon. I love it a lot but it can't compete with other arc types in it's class.

Haven't even received mine yet, don't really care though b/c I haven't levels up Eris past rank 1. I'm too lazy even though I've had husk of the put forever.

Not positive, but I think ~6-8 HM runs (not counting the first one on the two characters that have done Crota HM).

I think I got it either the third or fourth run. Since then I've gotten three all together.

3 RepliesOne good point about the Necro, a level 10 can equip it. So if you happen to be leveling an alt....from level 10 to X, this may be a good primary until you can equip something more suited to your play style.

Got mine after about 8 times. But it was the first time I didn't run on norm first.

1 Reply18 runs and no Crux, since it's the only exotic I am missing I just gave up, way too much time spent on a joke of a raid.

I still haven't got it to drop. Hard mode three times a week since it was released give or take a few and still no crux. Every week I hold out hope that this will be the week that I complete my exotic collection (only missing the Necrochasm) and every week I seem to get the shaft. Most of the people I raid with have got it multiple times. Here's hoping for this week though.
