Many players solo it for the challenge it may provide, the chance to complete it in a length of time they prefer, or even to try out different weapons and abilities. Forced matchmaking takes these away.

That's a good point, well points. I'm not against to the option just saying why I don't care either way

I prefer optional myself. I'm going to give it a shot and see how it works out. I'm leaving if I catch someone afking.
