Did you even read Bungie's update way back when? 1) BASE difficulty increased (aka harder solo in the first place) 2) For every player in the team it gets slightly harder (MORE hp) 3) If you consider the difficulty increase, it is easier if you actually have 3 people shooting, if not it has simply gotten harder.
