So it's ok that dude broke Sonys code of conduct to teach the kid a lesson for being deceived in to break Bungies terms of service for something that impacts noone else? Lmao. Ok buddy. Cause you've never used any exploit in the game that is against terms of service. Any dead ghosts that aren't out yet, any ammo glitch, exploration of locked content places yoh any cheese spot where a strike boss can't hit you, templar, atheon multiple ways, loot cave, gatekeeper, eris reset glitch, vanguard reset glitch, lamp explosion in abyss, jumping up on ledge and cutting half of the abyss out, any bridge despawn glitch, using sword swing to get across bridge, self res glitch, deathsinger glitch, the multiple crota glitches including the ever so popular crota kneel glitch that more than 80 percent of the community did at some point, etc. Don't ask all high and mighty man, don't kid yourself.
While I don't think the kid should get his stuff back because that just rewards the intended behavior of cheating, I do think Kermit as an older gamer (who should be teaching kids on how to play correctly and not tricking them into cheating to get games rewards) should be account banned. The kid already got his punishment. Twice. 1. By losing his shit for trusting someone he barely knows online with his account 2. All the flaming the kid is getting directly and indirectly for being taken advantage of. He has thousands of ppl who know his username now sending him garbage. you don't think ppl are harassing him?
