What does people quitting Dark Souls have to do with others naming it as the hardest game they ever played? Yes that happened, alot, but it's adjacent to the point. Difficulty is purely subjective. My brother needed Konami code to beat Contra, I didn't. So for me Contra's not any where near the top of my Hardest game ever list but it would definitely be at the top of his. On the other hand he's beaten the Original Resident Evil in under 90 min using only the knife. A feat way beyond my ability and patience. So he's definitely no scrub While some people may have quite Dark Souls cuz it was too hard, there are plenty of people who would legitimately place it at the top FYI your second paragraph restated the second paragraph of my first reply
