Anybody who said Dark Souls is a scrub, which is a shame because so many people said Dark Souls.
Just because a game doesn't hold your hand through the whole thing (Or at all in DS's case) doesn't make it impossible.

I'll admit the souls series is easily the hardest modern game. But it's no where near the hardest games ever made. I'd hate to see those people play NES and some super NES games. Or even indies that are purposely made to be unfair. But I guess in fair hard. NES and SNES may have a nice collection. Don't know about Sega. Only ever played vectorman. That wasn't too hard. And Psone had a lot of hard games. But not brutal hard.

Some games like Battle Toads and Another World are difficult because they're essentially broken. But the Difficulty in Dark Souls is legit because knowledge and experience will overcome it. So saying Dark Souls is the hardest game you ever played does not automatically make one a scrub. To summarize... "Your very statement is faulty."

Yes that happened, alot, but it's adjacent to the point. Difficulty is purely subjective. My brother needed Konami code to beat Contra, I didn't. So for me Contra's not any where near the top of my Hardest game ever list but it would definitely be at the top of his. On the other hand he's beaten the Original Resident Evil in under 90 min using only the knife. A feat way beyond my ability and patience. So he's definitely no scrub While some people may have quite Dark Souls cuz it was too hard, there are plenty of people who would legitimately place it at the top FYI your second paragraph restated the second paragraph of my first reply

Name your Most difficult game that wasn't broken or difficult due to obvious trolling or design flaws. Dark souls is challenging, But saying "you just have to have the right play style" is literally you just avoiding the topic. You can beat any game with "a certain play style."

Also, i'm not avoiding the topic, but not every game can be won with a certain style, some games are straightforward, with only one specific way to win. Dark Souls is not like that, there are many different play styles, and alternate pathways to finish the game. Your argument was invalid, just like the scrub before you.

And second, a game like that is so linear it isn't difficult to a lot of People. Including myself. And plus, the souls series is known as "the series to bring back punishingly difficult gameplay." The game is popular because it is difficult. Yes it can be easier by spamming magic But compare that to the average difficulty of Most games, And you will see Why People find it challenging. Because it isn't just pressing a single button with the beat of music in the background like the impossible game. And see if you can go one post without saying scrub. lol. And at least try to make an argument this time. We are losing brain cells from your moronic replies. Oh, And I have beaten it multiple times.
