Edited by Onxide: 2/20/2015 2:50:17 AMUsing a fragment of the Halo ring yes, but what if somehow he was only somehow transported to the "digital realm" as said by the Librarian, along with Cortana? Just a theory... They were trying to make a bridge to the realm so the Forerunners could become immortal...

He ain't dead.

But he perished with that section of the ring

The rest of the control room was untouched. He was composed.
Though their battle with the Didact was perilous and proved nearly fatal, the Spartans were able to band together, and with the help of 859 Static Carillion they tricked the Didact into using the Composers on himself. Effectively turned into a digital essence, the Office of Naval Intelligence currently considers the Didact “contained”, though it remains to be seen if his threat to humanity is truly at an end.
So, as of now, no. I don't think we will see him in Halo 5 but maybe, just maybe, we can see him come back in Halo 6 as sort of a "good guy" role, although getting him to like humanity will take some time.
